Cleaning can be a refreshing way to welcome the new season and improve the overall cleanliness and organization of living spaces. In order to tackle spring cleaning effectively, it’s important to make a plan, gather necessary cleaning supplies, and focus on one room at a time. Donating unwanted items or properly disposing of them can also be a great way to declutter and give back to the community. With a little effort, spring cleaning can be a satisfying and rejuvenating experience for any household.
Karrie from Staging Spaces & Designs joined us at one of our Hayden Homes to share a few of her favorite tips and tricks for keeping your pantry, linen closet, and master bedroom organized as we head into the new season.
Organizing your pantry
To organize your pantry, start by taking everything out and categorizing items by type. Use clear containers and labels to store items, and consider installing shelving or baskets for additional storage. Keep frequently used items at eye level and less frequently used items higher or lower. Finally, regularly check expiration dates and donate any unused items to reduce clutter.
