Homebuilder announces $65,000 in recent gifts to nonprofits across the Northwest

Redmond, Ore., Aug. 19, 2026 – Hayden Homes, a Central Oregon-based homebuilder and member of the National Association of Home Builders, has joined the Local Builder Giving Challenge, a nationwide initiative uniting 17 homebuilders in a commitment to raise $10 million over the next two years for nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening communities, expanding housing access, and improving lives across the country.

Together, participating builders produce more than 5,000 homes annually across the United States and share a commitment to investing in the communities where they build and live.

As part of the initiative, Hayden Homes will support nonprofit programs in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana, reporting twice each year on funds raised, volunteer hours contributed, and local housing initiatives supported.

In the second quarter of 2026, Hayden Homes committed $65,000 in donations and sponsorships to organizations across the Northwest in regions where it serves. Contributions include:

• Oregon I-5 Corridor: $5,000 to Mid-Willamette Family YMCA Veterans Housing, which provides affordable housing, supportive services, and community connections for veterans in the Mid-Willamette Valley.
• Central Oregon: $2,000 and 12 birthday bags to MountainStar Family Relief Nursery, which strengthens families and helps prevent child abuse through therapeutic early childhood education, parenting support, and resources for families facing significant challenges. The birthday bags included supplies for a birthday party, along with stuffed animals, books, toys, and other items. Hayden Homes also contributed $2,500 to Clear Mourning to support Camp Courage, a three-day summer camp that helps children and teens cope with the death of a loved one, and provided a $35,000 sponsorship to the Tower Theatre, which enriches Central Oregon through performing arts, educational programs, and community events.
• Inland Northwest Washington: $2,500 to TESH, Inc., a developmental disability agency providing child development, independent living, and employment choices and training to children, youth, and adults with disabilities.
• South Washington: $5,000 to the Richland Police Department Foundation, supporting equipment, programs, and community initiatives that promote safety and connection. Hayden Homes also committed $5,000 to HopeSource, which helps individuals and families achieve stability and self-sufficiency through housing, employment, food access, energy assistance, and other essential services.
• South Idaho: $2,500 to the Boys & Girls Club of the Magic Valley, which provides safe spaces, mentorship, and programs supporting academic success, leadership, and healthy development. Hayden Homes also committed $2,500 to Man Up Crusade, which equips young men with mentorship, life skills, and leadership opportunities.
• Montana: $2,500 to Youth Homes, which is opening a therapeutic shelter called Birnbaum Youth Home scheduled to open in Missoula in September 2026. The home will provide safety, stability, and healing for youth ages 12 to 17 in crisis.

Homebuilders, who are among the most active employers and community investors at the local level, are using the Local Builder Giving Challenge to make that commitment visible and measurable.
