What once was a flat rectangle of dirt is now a flurry of activity, in the process of being transformed into the backyard of someone’s dreams.   And that someone is Tyler Labelle, the lucky winner of the Hayden Homes $25,000 Dream Backyard Giveaway promotion, which ran throughout last summer. Labelle’s name was drawn in October from among thousands who entered the promotion.
The sun may be blazing hot this week in Rathdrum, Idaho, but that’s not stopping the hard workers who are making this dream backyard become a reality. Framing is nearly complete on the storage shed, landscaping blocks have been installed and big, beautiful boulders have been placed to enhance the stunning landscaping design. Still to come are a trellis, new barbecue and gas fire pit, sod and an apple tree. It may not look like much now, but the final creation is sure to be a sight to see!
Tyler, his wife Paula, and their two young children, residents of the Corbin Crossing community in Rathdrum, are looking forward to spending this summer enjoying their new dream backyard.
