This is essential to using information and background knowledge to assemble complete and competent bidder\u2019s list, coordinate pre-bid meetings, bid review meetings, and track job costs throughout the project. In addition, must generate estimating deliverables on assigned projects and develop accurate conceptual cost models\/budgets.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct the full bidding and estimating of home projects.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct new subcontractor searches for various trades and scopes of work.<\/li>\n<li>Send out plans to subcontractors requesting labor bids.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain standardized bidding with constant effort to streamline process.<\/li>\n<li>Review and compile bids into a job cost detail for entry into Sapphire Build Program.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with production team to ensure all knowledge of job is passed downstream<\/li>\n<li>Review complete Estimate Detail after job is built in Sapphire Build for accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Production and Operations regarding front end schedule, setting priorities and improving efficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Keep Hayden Homes Sr. Project Managers apprised of across the board pricing issues.<\/li>\n<li>Be available for Sales Agents regarding custom options and instant quote pricing.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with all teams when discrepancies or questions arise from the original estimate.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL NEED<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in construction management or related field preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/span><strong>: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of four years of related construction experience required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/span><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret building codes and construction documents.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of technical and non-technical audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional organizational abilities and customer service skills.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of the organization as well as build relationships with outside resources.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with suppliers, trades, customers and internal team members to discuss and document requirements\/changes, address concerns and provide timely project status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Trave<\/strong><\/span><strong>l<\/strong>: Approximately 5% annually within local and regional areas.\u00c2\u00a0 Employee will use their own vehicle.<br \/>\n<strong>WHAT WE OFFER<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Total Rewards<\/strong><\/span>: Your benefits package from Simplicity Homes consists of a comprehensive range of benefits including Healthcare coverage, Health and Dependent Daycare Accounts, Disability protection, Saving benefit, Paid Time Off, Home Purchase Program, Professional Training and much more.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Compensation<\/span>:<\/strong> Based on individual, relevant experience<br \/>\nThe work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
