If you\u2019re a motivated individual with a strong work ethic who shares our core values and is looking for their next exciting opportunity, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<br \/>\n<strong>W<\/strong><strong>hat You Get To Do<\/strong><br \/>\nDay-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing consultants, including civil, geotechnical and environmental engineers, land surveyors, landscape architects and general contractors.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Managing installation of infrastructure improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Land use design and entitlement.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Land Development budget and invoice management.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Reviewing engineering plans.<\/li>\n<li>Submitting application to local municipalities for rezoning.<\/li>\n<li>Development and submittal or preliminary and final plat documents.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Liaison with City of and other governmental officials, including organizing and attending meetings as required to resolve outstanding matters. Follows through with all pertinent parties to ensure that appropriate action on pending matters is done as required.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the coordination of zoning matters with appropriate consultants, legal and governmental bodies.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0Ensures all plans and required submittals are processed with the appropriate government body and follows through to obtain approvals as required. Track\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 progress of these submittals to receipt of required approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates, schedules and attends architectural design\/schedule matters and follows through to ensure required action is done as required.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the coordination of land surveys, easements, etc. and works with surveyors, engineers etc. to ensure work is done as required.<\/li>\n<li>Inspecting construction improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the interviewing and selection of outside consultants.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and solicits bids for a variety of development required contracts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\u00c2\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Education<\/span>:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\u00c2\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Experience<\/span>:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c2\u00a0A minimum of 4 years\u2019 experience in at least one of the following areas: civil engineering, land surveying, land planning or construction management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Required Skills<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In depth knowledge of residential infrastructure and building construction.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to various audiences.<\/li>\n<li>In this position you will be required to make public presentations at City\/County Council and Commission hearings and meet with public officials, so\u00c2\u00a0 a\u00c2\u00a0professional and presentable demeanor is required.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of the organization as well as build relationships with outside resources.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Regular and reliable attendance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Travel<\/span>: This position also requires a great deal of local and regional travel so candidates must be willing and able to travel as necessary. Company offers mileage reimbursement for use of personal car.
