Hayden Homes\u2019 CEO Dennis Murphy visited the home of Shane and Alexandria Hunter in our Antler Ridge community in Boise, Idaho, Wednesday, April 12th, to sit down with the lucky winners and talk about their initial ideas.<br \/>\nSince moving into their new Hayden Home in February, the Hunters have been eagerly awaiting this day and were excited to get their ideas down on paper. Due to the long, hard winter, it\u2019s been difficult to imagine the dream oasis they\u2019ve always wanted. After the snow finally melted and they took time to put their heads together, ideas started flowing!<br \/>\n\u201cFinally, when we got to sit outside and think about what we wanted, the plan came together pretty quick, Shane said.<br \/>\nOn their wish list is a large shed, fire pit, outdoor kitchen for entertaining, covered patio with vaulted ceiling, and privacy for Alex and her daughters to soak up some sun!<br \/>\n\u201cWe love arborvitae and roses \u2013 lots of roses from the greenhouse nursery, Alex added.<br \/>\nDennis jotted down their ideas as well as some suggestions of his own, including a retaining wall and contrasting rock pathway, and penciled out a preliminary sketch of the Hunters\u2019 soon-to-be dream backyard. Now, as the Hunters finalize their ideas and plans, we\u2019re gearing up to start construction in May!<br \/>\nIn the meantime, Dennis left Shane and Alex with a couple of his favorite landscaping books on Pacific Northwest gardens to help the lucky winners choose region-specific plants. These types of plants will help their yard pop and create the awe-inspiring resort feel they are dreaming of.<br \/>\n\u201cPinch me! Is this real? exclaimed Alex as Dennis wrapped up the design.
