Chris Isaak is a throwback to a era gone bye. There is still fancy clothes, and big hair, but not the kind you would see on today’s musicians. Sporting a white shirt, baby blue jacket and sequined pants, Isaak looks and feels like a 50’s style rocker with a modern touch. Not only does he have that Memphis Sun Studio sound, but there is a certain aura about him that would put him right at home on stage with the likes of Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, or Johnny Cash. Isaak’s smooth voice, humor and personality entertains and that makes his performance feel like something out of the past, when rock was young and traveled the country in the back of a van, or an old sedan.
