This year’s best-ranked American cities are based on health, safety, education, economy and recreation and Spokane ranks in the top 10.

With impressive scores in math and reading proficiency, the city located in NE Washington has a well-balanced record of notable stats, making it the most education-friendly city on the list.

Spokane is an outdoorsy family’s dream, with 4000+ acres of parkland, and the 67-mile River Centennial Trail, which is why it also ranked 4th in Healthiest Cities.

Hayden Homes has been building in Spokane for over 12 years, is presently building 7 communities in the metropolitan area.

Congratulations Spokane! It’s a nice place to visit and to live.

Also making Parenting Magazine’s top 20, coming in at 17th is Boise Idaho. Boise boasts 4,218.54 acres of parkland, including The Greenbelt, a 25-mile riverfront pathway. The city’s zoo has over 200 animals representing over 80 species from around the world, and it is home to St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.

Boise is the location of Hayden Homes newest communities – Brownstone, Carlton Bay and Napoli in Treasure Valley.

My wife and I bought our first home last May. We own a Hayden home. We have had only one problem with the house which they fixed within 24 hours after contacting them. We have not any cracking, the carpet is of good quality, and the paint is done very nicely. And if you don’t like white–then paint over it as we did. Hayden Homes are of good quality on the contrary to what has been said about them. I have only heard good things from the people I know who have built with Hayden. The buying process was smooth and the sales representatives treat you like family. As the house is being built, you can stop by every day and check out the process if you like. It was great to watch the frame go up, the electrical installed, the plumbing, the drywall, etc. You get to pick out your carpet, appliances, cabinets, backsplash, tile, flooring, lighting, etc. And if you don’t like the standard carpet–it is your choice to go for the upgrade. The houses are very affordable, especially if you re looking for your first home. I love the neighborhood we live in as well. Everyone on the block are in their twenties to thirties–some with kids. We are very tight knit and it is a great neighborly-social atmosphere. And as for the investment, our house has already appreciated by $10,000.00 since buying it. I have also seen other houses in older sections sell for more than what they were bought. Hayden Homes is a good quality builder…and if anything before signing papers–have your own inspector come through before signing on the dotted line. I don’t think you will go wrong with deciding to build and buy with Hayden Homes.

We were excited to donate an electronic green screen to the Digital Video Production class at Sisters High School. This technology will make it more possible to bring the outside world into the video laboratory.

Hayden Homes is presently building a community just east of the high school, the Village at Cold Springs, and we contracted Ben Young’s video class to produce videos for our sales training. The green screen will make it possible to combine footage shot right in the video lab with footage shot on site at Hayden Homes.

We like supporting the education of our future leaders in every way we can. We are proud to make this contribution to the high school and look forward to a long relationship, through scholarship support and projects like this one.
