(Veneta, OR) – For Desiree Norton, owning her own home meant better schools, less crime, a foundation for her family, and mostly, respect. Desiree Norton works tirelessly every day. She’s maintained a full-time job as a customer care representative. Each week, she’d truck her boys to Veneta from South Eugene to be with their two gracious grandparents, Veneta residents Elly and Doug Camenzind. Despite her efforts, Desiree, like others struggling to affordable their first home, thought buying a home was only a pipe dream. But today, Hayden Giving Fund made that dream a reality.
