HAYDEN WATSON, Owner / CEO

Having founded the homebuilding company with his father Robert Watson in 1989, Hayden Watson became President of Hayden Homes when it was incorporated in 1993.  He credits the countless hours of time spent with his father mentoring him to learn the business for his success. In 1999, upon Robert’s retirement, Hayden assumed the CEO position for the company.   Mr. Watson’s energy, passion and entrepreneurial spirit have greatly influenced and inspired the company at large, and that continues to be a constant today.

Mr. Watson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Pacific-Stockton, and has since amassed extensive experience in finance, land acquisition, development and sales.  As past President and a current member of the National Home Builder Association Builder 20 organization, as well as his current enrollment in the Harvard Business Executive Manager Program, he continues to pursue additional experience, knowledge and skill in the industry.

DENNIS MURPHY, President

Dennis Murphy is the President of Hayden Homes.  Mr. Murphy has led Hayden Homes to become the Northwest’s largest and most successful homebuilder.

Mr. Murphy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Chico, where he would later be honored as Alumni of the Year.  Mr. Murphy is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.   He is dedicated to the lifelong benefits of education and advantages.  Mr. Murphy has been a “Big Brother” since 2002 and has served as Chairman of the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon and as Chairman of the Oregon Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.
